This coffeemaker is awesome. I had one and I accidently broke it (long story), and I looked everywhere for it to replace it. The newer version of this brew station is horrible (it leaks when pouring) so I returned it and ordered this one through Amazon, which had the best price.

We were given one of these machines as a wedding present six years ago & love it! We've use it on average for 2 pots of coffee a day and it still works great! About two years ago it started to drip & I figured the machine was finally starting to show its age. My husband just took out the rubber seal ring out & flipped it over & it has just started dripping again this week. The handle for the carafe broke off after about three years of constant use but in my opinion that wasn't a necessary piece at all, it's still served us well for three+ more. I get all kinds of complements on this machine when we have people over & my mother-in-law liked it so much she had us buy her one for Christmas a few years ago. One thing I have noticed about similar models by other manufacturers it that there is not much room where the coffee comes out for different sized/shaped cups so if your cup is not exactly straight sided you will get spills, that is not so with this machine! I have never had a problem filling many different sized/shaped cups, I've even caught my 4 year olds pouring a perfect cup of coffee for me. I have & will continue to recommend this machine to everyone I know & when mine finally kicks the bucket i plan to replace it with another of its kind.

My husband and I love coffee and we have been through several Mr Coffee makers with limited success. Then we bought this one and have loved it. It is sturdy, easy to use, easy to clean, and doesn't make too much noise. I am telling my parents to get one too.

I'm deployed to afghanistan, we had a silver bullet coffeemaker(cafeteria size) and we would waste coffee because not everyone drank it. I would get so sad beacuse I would want to make coffee but with only 2 of us on shift it was a waste for make enough coffee for 15 people when only 2 were there. So there were nights(I work at night) where I wouldn't even make coffee. I got realy sad and depressed because of it. My production level went down and my nights drug on. Then one night while purusing Amazon.com I decided enough is enough, I had to have a regular coffee pot, one that made as much or as little coffee as I wanted and I wouldn't have to worry about wasting it. So I bought this one and wow! My nights are amazing now! I have coffee every night and I never waste coffee anymore! I love you Hamilton Beach 12-Cup BrewStation!

According to the reviews, I could have easily ended up with a leaking machine, but mine does not leak. It was purchased at a high end department store. I don't know if that has anything to do with its performance, which is flawless. It brews delicious coffee every time and keeps it hot, for those of you who enjoy hot coffee in the morning, regardless of weather. Furthermore, for those that like to wake up to hot coffee as opposed to those who prefer to prepare it in the morning, it has a feature that allows you to do that, too.
